Things new owners most often pick up in the first week. Not part of the inspection — your car is complete without them.
The interior checks above have you confirm mats are present and fit correctly. If yours are missing, or you want full all-weather coverage, this set covers the footwells, cargo area, and seatbacks.
Fits: Model Y Juniper 2025–2026, 5-seat only — not the pre-refresh Model Y or the 7-seat layout
Best done on delivery day — the screen is never cleaner or more dust-free than the moment you take the car, and that is when tempered glass goes on without trapped specks underneath. The matte finish also cuts glare, and the auto-align tray makes it hard to fit crooked.
Fits: Model Y 2026 Premium / Performance / L with the 16-inch screen — check your screen size before ordering, other Model Y trims use a different panel
Cabin heat is the first thing most new owners want to solve. This one covers the windshield.
Fits: Model Y Juniper 2025–2026 and Model 3 Highland 2024+
The overhead companion to the windshield shade rather than an alternative — this pair covers the panoramic glass roof, where most of the heat enters a parked car.
Fits: Model Y Juniper 2025–2026 only — not the pre-refresh Model Y or the Model 3
Found issues?
Document everything with photos and video before accepting delivery. Minor issues can be scheduled for service — major defects (large panel gaps, paint damage, missing features) are grounds to reject and request a different vehicle.
