💡 Tip: The Cybertruck's unpainted stainless steel hides nothing. Every imperfection is highly visible. Take your time — early production trucks are known for panel gap inconsistencies.

Overall body: no deep scratches, dents, or sharp creases in the steel

Surface marks and fingerprints on new truck are cosmetic and removable — document anything deeper

Hood gap: even on both left and right sides, no visible misalignment

Front door gaps: even top to bottom, consistent on both sides

Rear door gaps: even top to bottom, consistent on both sides

💡 Tip: Ask your delivery advisor if you can drive around the lot. Even a short loop reveals a lot.

Brakes: firm with no pulsing, vibration, or pulling to one side

Acceleration: smooth with no hesitation or jerking

Regenerative braking: engages smoothly when you lift off the accelerator

Air conditioning: blows cold air

Heat: blows warm air

Windshield wiper: works, no streaking

Washer fluid: sprays correctly

Horn: works

No unusual sounds — clunks, rattles, squeaks over bumps or during turns

Ride height changes feel smooth at all settings

Steering feels tight and consistent, no pulling

Found a problem?

You are allowed to reject your Cybertruck at delivery. Photograph everything with timestamps. For major issues like large panel gaps or body damage, ask Tesla to schedule service before you accept — or request a different unit.
